On the road : Teluk Intan & Pangkor

Sometime last December, I visited the quaint little town of Teluk Intan (Wikipedia)

Located right in the middle of town, this unique leaning tower that was completed in 1885 started to tilt a few years after its completion due to an underground stream.

An hour of scenic drive with Florence to Lumut + 30 mins of ferry ride and we are on Pangkor island.

Riding through Pangkor town on a rented bike which costs only 30 bucks for the whole day.

Ram, Jam, Slam on it and it still moves. This thing is like a tank!

The calm seas surrounding the island

Ne-Yo Live In Kuala Lumpur 2010

The Gentleman is in town. Thanks to Friendster  & my bro I received a call from a girl a day before the concert who gave me 2 exclusive passes worth RM540 bucks to Ne-Yo's concert at Sunway Lagoon's Surf Beach.

I felt on top of the world *whispers* though I wasn't a Ne-Yo fan at all! But then, who hasnt heard of his songs before rite?

The crowd went wild as the gentleman took the stage and for the next 30 mins or so, he was belting out all his hits.

Check out some wicked stuff from those Roland G7 synths...*drools*

Ne-Yo then introduced his protege whom he has been training

Now for some concert sensation, thanks to Euveng who has sacrificed his arms for this, VIDEO recordings from the concert in HD!

Check it out:

I'll sure be hooked on to Ne-Yo's tunes for awhile.

Hello Twenty-10

Time sure flies by pretty quickly as it felt that just not too long ago, I was counting down to the millenium on Dec 31st, 1999 at Subang airport's runway .

Still remembered vividly that it was some really cool clubbing event happening on the runway itself and how much we were all anticipating the millenium bug to cause great havoc on computers around the world. That was then.....

Here I am 10 years later, at Genting's New Year's Eve Party

The usual scenic spot became an outdoor dance floor for the nite

As party-revellers countdown to the stroke of midnite, I did not only witness some 'invisible' fireworks, but also  zombies coming out to 'play'.

Anyway, check out what I meant by the invisible fireworks =)

Hope u all had an eventful countdown to the new year!

2010 & Beyond

Here we are on last day of 2009. Wouldn't say it's the best year, coz there's more to come but it's definitely been a remarkable one.

There's a whole load of things and people to thank God for being a part of my life this year and that I'm truly grateful for all of you.

On the music side of things, 2009 marked a milestone as I'm blessed with opportunities to session for artiste and play at some huge music events. Felt so honored to be on stage with such accomplished people in the industry.

Here's some pix that highlights the happenings over the past year.

Star Live Concert & Hannah Tan's Charity Christmas Concert

Here's some snippets of the 2 concerts that happened back to back the past week.

First it's was the Star Live Concert at Bukit Jalil Stadium.

Featuring Taiwan and local acts with the likes of Richie Ren, Valen Tsu, Kelly Chen, Alex Fong, Vangie Teng, Liu Li Yang & Suki Low, it was definitely one star-studded concert for fans of mando-pop.

The very next day, it was our very own Hannah Tan's Charity Christmas Concert.

Held at the Gardens Ballroom, this charity concert is staged for the underprivileged kids, where guests who are attending this event are required to bring a gift for the kids in exchange for an entry pass to the concert.

Check out the video featuring performances by Liang, Remy & Sam of Innuendo, Dennis Lau & Hannah herself.

An Honest Mistake at MYC Battle Of The Bands 2009

I was invited to session for An Honest Mistake at MYC's Battle Of The Bands event held last weekend at Sunway.

Shared the stage with other amazing bands like Bus Company, Car Crash Hearts, OAG, and DragonRed just to name a few.

So here we are...at the venue:

An Honest Mistake on stage

As the schedule was a bit delayed, it's all good timing as when it was our turn to rock the place, it was already dusk and we played to a stage of full lightings and of course a full-house crowd.

View from the stage just seconds before we start.
